Sensitive skin??!!!!! plz help x?
Look for ones specifically for combination skin. Boots own range is good.
Reply:I have used a toner from Clarins which I thought was pretty good as they have creams/clensers/toners that are suitable for combination skin. Try their website or go to a beauty counter and they may be able to recommend something.
Reply:Use a facial creme wash, like from neutrogena...but exfoliate oily areas three times a week.So you keep your skin hydrated but not oily
Reply:Kiehl's mask is good and shie siedo skincare products are great but they are all bi pricey so i would go for loreal
Reply:I had the same problem. I did a lot of things to clear up my mega sensitive skin, but every moment, and every penny was well worth it. First, I get a facial every 2-3 months. They are expensive but well worth it. Not only is it great for your face, but they always update you on the best products. I only go to places that carry MD Formulations, because it is the only product that I have seen such great results with.
I also take the MD Formulations into my home care routine. I wash twice a day with their sensitive skin cleaner. Twice a day I take the Nature's Cure pills. And in the morning I put the Nature's Cure cream on, and the daily sensitive skin cream after the NC cream has dried. At night I use Clearing complex by MD Formulations.
Also very important is your makeup. I use Bare Minerals which are from the same line as MD formulations. Get a starter kit, it comes with an instructional video and all your brushes. You can expand after that. They are all mineral (powder), and work great. The "mineral veil" product helps with that oily skin look. I have been using this for a long time now, and I love the results!!
Hope this helps!!
Reply:use stiemycin... it works pretty good.... it'll be available in pharmacies
Reply:I'm hooked on cleansing wipes-the Equate brand that's sold at WalMart are less $ than most other and I love them. Most of the other brands are really scented and I don't like that and you can buy 2 packs and use them for specific areas..
If you don't like wipes try Alamay Milk Plus Foaming Gel 2in1 Cleanser and Toner. Also try some sensitive skin products, they might be good for you problems
Reply:First off, I use Proactiv...... It's the only thing that keeps my skin under control, you may or may not want to try it, but I only use the face wash, I found that all the other stuff they wanted me to put on it was just too much.
Instead of Proactiv toner, I use Biore Triple Action Toner and a clean cotton round and I get all the dirt off my face.
Then I dab Neosporin cream(not ointment, very important) on zits and flared pores if any(I've lived by neosporin for all my zits, ingrowns, blackheads, but I don't put it on my nose unless there is a zit. Obviously this doesn't work for everyone, but I would reccomend you give it a shot.)
Once a week I use Biore Strips to get all the gunk out of those pores on my nose, and I also take a tissue and press on my nose in different directions to get all the dirt out of them that the strips missed, and I mean, I press HARD, like the facialists do.
Once a week I also use Freeman's Avacado and Oatmeal tightening mask. It works wonders and leaves your skin fresh and clean, and also closes the pores after you use the strips.
It works for me, it sounds like a mess, but it's worth it. Try proactiv. I have the same problem and I over the years have used proactiv, I've found that the whole regimen doesn't work for me, but the cleanser is the best. Here is my regimen, maybe you'd want to try it out:

Any makeup tips to tone down my fair, reddish skin?
I am very fair with blonde hair and I have very sensitive skin, which tends to become red during the winter months. Anyone know of any way to cover the redness? Thanks for your help.
Any makeup tips to tone down my fair, reddish skin?
Well, if its really red, you might want to get some consealer. Of course, to even skin tone, foundation and powder really help too. Get some that match your skin tone when its NOT red. Put the consealer on first, then the foundation, then the powder. There are two types of powder: compacted and loose. I personally perfer the loose powder because it blends much better on your skin, but I believe that with the compacted, you get more for your money. Your choice. Good luck!
Reply:I'm a red head and i have freckles. Be yourself
Reply:i try to avoid sun, use sun tan lotion, light foundation. then start with dark mascara, i like it.
Reply:Use a yellow based foundation. If you really look at foundations you can see that they have a red tone to them. (Hold the bottle by something white)After you apply foundation blend concealer on the remaining problem areas. Stay away from pink eyeshadows, red lipsticks and blushes. That will just bring the red out of your skin. Stick with corals, browns...
Reply:This might sound silly but for reddish skin use a green consealer or apply a small amount of green eyeshadow on you cheeks and blend before apply foundation!!

I have light brown skin. What are the best colours to use for make-up?
When I wear bright pinks and burning reds, my skin tone tends to look the best.
I've used pale colours for eye shadows and I prefer natural pinks/almost non-existant colours for the lips, preferring to use gloss as I think my lips are a good colour anyway.
When I use lipsticks I usually feel tarty - they look too solid in colour. Deep browns and reds look awful...!
All suggestions and advice would be much appreciated!

Go into any large store which has make up counters (such as Debenhams or House of Fraser) they love people like you who need advice on colour choices. You will probably get a makeover at the same time....have fun :D

My sis is a makeup artist (that's what she calls herself anyway..I say she just works at a beautyshop..hehe) so I'll give her a call when she gets off work tonight and see if she can come on and answer you ;)

Reply:use makeups with a purple or violet hue
Reply:You need to find a Avon Beauty adviser to help you find the correct shade. She can use samples for you to try. The shade the disappears along your jawline is the right shade. You can check out www.avon.com to find an avon beauty adviser in your area.

I wish i had you colour of skin instead of applying fake tan. I would think your best bet is to go to a make-up store and they will try some make-ups on you for free. Then you will know its a safe colour for you

What is the best skin highlighter and how do you use it?
i want to highlight my cheeks and nosebridge. i have fair skin which tends to be a bit oily so i don't want a highlighter that is non- comedogenic. also, how do i apply it correctly? should i use a brush for it? if so, what kind?
What is the best skin highlighter and how do you use it?
I have very fair skin and I love Benefit Dandelion!
You can use it as a highlighter or even a brush because you also have fair skin just like me.
If you wanna use it as a highlighter just use a little and your face will look more fresh not too glossy.
If you wanna use it as a brush use a little but put more until you get the color you want.
But guaranteed you'll look so natural, like your own blushing! :)
Reply:Try bare essentials or revlon.
Reply:I like this product called POUT... illuminator - love glow. I have very fair skin and it makes my skin glow. Apply it to cheeks, nose bridge and forehead.

What colors compliment my skin tone?
I am of asian indian origin and i have green veins. I have fair to medium skin which tends to stay tan after I tan it. What is my skin tone and what colors (in clothes and makeup) would complement it. i have very dark brown (almost black) hair and darkish brown eyes. thanks!
What colors compliment my skin tone?
For eyes, I'd go with a basic palette ranging from nudes to metallic copppers and browns. I'd suggest in shadows a range of shroom, naked lunch, cranberry, jest, all that glitters. And in lipglosses, colors like viva glam vi, could never go wrong. You might also want to take a look at smashbox, they have beautiful bronzes. For clothes, I´d pick basic pieces that I could combine with black, beige, white and for a bit of punch some turquoise.

Dry skin....?
i have really dry skin which tends to crack, especially on my legs, arms, hands, or lips. what can i do so that during this winter i feel better?
Dry skin....?
Use some type of petroleum jelly (it does not have to be Vaseline)after getting out of the bath. This will help keep you from cracking all day. You will feel thick and greasy at first but, it eventually settles into your skin.
Reply:kill yourself
Reply:if youre british try e45 cream, it works wonders on my skin!
Reply:I'd use baby oil as it adds moisture to your skin and i'd avoid powders, etc. Oh and E45 for your face and Vaseline is good for your mouth too.
Reply:i have the same problem..my mother is a dermatologist and constantly she remind me to moisturize my skin with moisturizing creams and chap my lips....u have to do it often though cuz otherwise it won't work...there is also this cream called lyderm and it magic but i suggest u contact ur dermatologist before u do anything
Reply:I would use a moisturizer specifically for dry skin. During the winter I tend to use a heavier moisturizer/skin lotion to keep my skin moisurized and not dry. Also, I like using body butters - lots of moisturizer without feeling sticky. Also drink more water that will help.
Reply:same prob. i put on pound of lotion, but it doesn't help. what u need to do is put on some skin oil. it feels greasy and annoying, but it works. dab offthe extra with tissue so u don't look shiny.
if ur skins REEEEEALY dry, put on some normal lotion over that. oh yeah, and keep some chapstick (burt's bees is expensive, but good) in ur pocket at all times.
if ur a girl, try to avoid shaving cuz it dryies out skin horribly.
Reply:oatmeal baths and lots of lotion.
Reply:Old fashion cocoa butter or shea butter but it has to be raw, not the stuff they sell at the local drug stores, if you want purchase some vitamin e oil and almond oil and mix it into the cocoa or shea butter.
Reply:use baby lotiions ...thats wat ii use and my skiin iis really soft and for your liips ....ok thiis miight sound weiird but once a week grab a toothbrush and wiith regular vaseliine brush your liips and they wont get chapped.
Reply:try baby oil after a bath....pat your skind semi-dry and then apply baby oil...also befor bed apply lotion or body cream.

I'm looking for a new skin care regimen, what should I use?
I have light skin that tends to be a little on the oily side. Right now I use the C.O. Bigelow face cleanser for oily skin from Bath and Body Works but that's it. I think my face feels a little too dry after though.
I was at a Mary Kay facial party this past weekend and they said you should always use a regimen set from the same company because it will all be formulated to work together.
So, what should I get? I want perfect skin. :) Thanks for reading!
I'm looking for a new skin care regimen, what should I use?
I love Mary Kay. I started using it a year ago and haven't stopped. I have combination to oily skin and use the whole skin care line. Its great and not very expensive. One tube lasts for about 3months. Contact your consultant where you went to the facial party and she can help you tons. Best of luck, and hope you love Mary Kay as much as I do.
Reply:I go by that rule too, and use Estee Lauder. Don't mix products!
Reply:go to proactivsolution.com
Reply:Try Exfoliate Me daily cleansing gel if you have oily skin followed by Nighty Hydrate which is not greasy and keeps your skin from being dried out...The Glycolic acid in the Exfoliate me will get rid of bad oily skin and Nightly Hydrate will make your skin look amazing. You can buy both products on yahooshopping or Amazon or Shopzilla.com both are made by MangoMadnessSkincare
Reply:Arbonne is a great skin care line!!
Reply:You should try Biore's pore unclogging scrub to wash your skin and if you break out try their astringent. For a moisturizer try Oil of Olay anti wrinkle with SPF 15, i know you don't have wrinkles but my sister uses it and it moisturizes without making her skin oily. At night try their night cream I love it cause it's light weight and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized without having that greasy feeling.
Reply:Perfect skin is a myth! We all struggle with skin problems trust me! But, I do have a suggestion. There's a pretty awesome live radio show that gives really good advice on skin care and effective as well as reasonably priced products on the market. I really hope this helps!
