Acne/skin problems?

I've had a really bad case of acne in my teens years. Today, I admit that it is clearer but I still see flaws with my skin. My skin tends to be oily on cheeks, forehead and maybe sometimes nose %26amp; chin. The rest might be dry. I tend to get red very easily. To me, my skin tone appears very uneven. Like it can be dark brown, pale, red or a mixture. But that I'm never too sure. I still have acne too. There more like blackheads or whiteheads? And my cheeks look like they have tiny holes in them, but I'm guessing those are pores. I really dont know what to do anymore. I dont want to try proactiv. Any suggestions to solving some of the problems above? I'd appreaciate it alot Thanks:)

Acne/skin problems?
Well Proactive may work for you. it doesn't work for everybody but it does work for a lot.

The only real way to get rid of post-acne scarring or uneven skin tones is chemical peels which help to even out your skin tone, or surgery to get rid of the scarring. I believe they can do it with a laser or sometimes they have to replace the skin, with skin elsewhere on your body.

I know it sounds expensive and scary but there is really no natural way to cure it.
Reply:go see a dermatologist if you can. i used proactiv at one point because i was that self concious, and it actually helped, but only a little, not as much as everyone thinks it does, and plus its expensive.
Reply:You might want to try Arbonne products u can go directly to their website, i think its www.arbonne.com they have great products, i had bad skin, but now its totally better. It takes like 2 weeks, but you'll see a difference in your skin. It also clears up your skin and makes your pores not so big. I used this with the bare escentials make up, and you would not believe how many compliments I get on my "great" skin.

Good luck :-)
Reply:My son got better when he quit putting all the stuff on his face and just cleaned once daily with mild soap and water. Dr. can give you antibiotics to take if he thinks its worth it. Benzyl Peroxide can be bought at the drug store over the counter for about $5 per tube. It is the same active ingredent as proactiv though proactiv has a cleaning regamine to follow also. Ask pharmacist to point it out. .
Reply:Try neutrogena products. Especially the blackhead clearing scrub. It works wonders for my skin. Also, try exfoliating once a week and use a mud mask. Also, try acne free. It's like proactive but better and much cheaper.
Reply:u have any skin problems used the products more informtion http://www.skincarefairy.com
Reply:Me too. I'vebeen there I have the same problems. Make up doesn't help though unless it contains vitamins and minerals. Yes they do make these kinds yes it's more expensive but totally worth it. Try clean and clear black head scrub something like that to remove the black heads. I'm sure that's the name or something on that order. I have the stuff and it works really well. Have you tried Murad? I have ecellent stuff when they say that works thy mean it. Guess what? It's made just for your skin go on line and get some samples. You can even go to the Medical Spa...well depending on where you live I know one is in LA in California and it's really good. It's really relaxing they have this one treatment and it's 4.4 hours long which is really relaxing. I promise you wont want to leave. Try some light cleaning too. I tried Proactive and it wont' work for you how do I know? because I have the same skin as you. It will burn and that doesn't help. Murad is different they are like all about health and so on. The skin care is so gentle to your skin you will actually like puttng it on and once it's own you won't even know. Your skin will clear up fast. I places just some of the thigns I recieved in the sample on my forehead where I had some break outs and it cleared up in a day. How cool and although I didn't buy right after that it stayed clear so now I have no problems. You have to at least try some samples and ys they are free. You even get things on your birthday now proactive can beat that.

Tips; Wash 2-3 times daily and try to keep hands out of your face.

Use a towel or wash cloth you can damp it a little to pop them no it's not good too, but at least you're not using your hands and so you're not putting more bacteria into your skin.

Drink plenty of water and take some vitamins.

Relax. Try not to stress too much it's harsh on your skin.

the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...

Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!

Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

to drink it, put it in honey and water, or apple juice--tastes like cider..cost is 5 dollars a qt at the healthfood store
