What moisturiser would you recommend for my dry skin?

I've got conbination skin which becomes quite dry depending on my physical%26amp;mental condition.I don't say that my skin is sensitive but it tends to be so sometimes. The products I've tried haven't made much difference. They've only made my skin either oily or even drier. I'm really fed up with spending a fortune on skincare products.Do you know any bland that is reasonable in price but hydrates the skin without oiliness?

What moisturiser would you recommend for my dry skin?
I'd suggest you change your beauty regime. I'd suggest Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish followed by the normal moisturiser (yes the normal one unless you have really really dry skin) depending on what you use to wash/ cleanse your face can have an impact on your skin before you moisturise - you don't want a cleanser that contains talc as it dries your skin even more.

Few reasons for reccommending liz earle:

Its all organic and natural

Its won almost every award

The cleanser doesn't strip your skin (I have dry sensitive skin and can testify this) which means you don't have to use as much moisturiser

You can buy it from QVC (online) with a 30 day money back garauntee - even if you've used it a few times and don't think its worked

You rub the cleanser into your face and use the muslim cloth to wash it off (so also acts a minor exfoliant)

Reply:I have combination skin and I have found oil of olay total effects very good. Its £15 in Boots but try savers or superdrug it might be cheaper in there.
Reply:E45 do a moisturising cream for face and body, have found it to be very good. Make sure it is the moisturing cream one though and not the E45 emmoliant.
Reply:Lush Cosmetics - Imperalis. This is a great natural cream for combination skin. Around 15 € a pot. all the ingredients come from the nature.

Reply:Oilyness is the natural way your skin keeps hydrated, and also by supplying nutrients and water to it via the bloodstream. Perhaps you aren't drinking enough water, or eating the right kinds of food. Or it could just be your skin is naturally like this. I'd use pure jojoba oil on dry areas especially if it can be sensitive. This oil is the closest to sebum (your natural oil). All commercial brands, even Simple products contain additives derived from petro-chemicals which could have been the cause of the change in your skin's behaviour. If you keep it natural and simple then you should have no worries. If you are prone to spots then add a few drops of tea tree oil with the jojoba. It lasts ages and you only need a little bit. :)
Reply:creme de ler its fantastic pricy though but i buy little tubs at a time from ebay u,l pay around £15.00 for a 7ml jar but it will last a month and it reduces wrinkles/blemishes x
