What foundation to use for dry skin?

Whenever I wear liquid foundation, it makes it too obvious that I'm wearing foundation. If I wear cream-to-powder foundation, it makes the dry skin show up on my face. I wear Ponds moisturizing cream before wearing foundation, but the dry skin flakes still tend to show up. What foundation should I use if I have dry skin?

Have you tried L'Oreal True Match? It's a liquid, but it gives nice sheer coverage that blends in with your natural skin tones really nicely.
Reply:i suggest pure makeup liquid foundation by maybelline and then follow it up with some bare minerals powder or even some cover girl compact thing
Reply:I use Bare Minerals, and it does make small flakes show up when my skin is dry. I usually put on some moisturizer by Bliss, and that works really well and instantly. It also smells lovely.

Reply:I have the same problem along w/ a very difficult skin tone to match. I recently bought the new Maybelline mineral powder foundation it's a liquid and it's a very tiny bottle, but all it takes is a few drops and you'll see spectacular coverage and it's not harsh on your skin. So, you'll notice and improvement after you start using it. Hope this works for you! It did for me!
Reply:Use a moisturizer always. I haven't tried palms, but I'm sure its fine. Try Almay dry skin foundation and powder line! It's really nice (instead of using the pressed powder over the foundation, use the powder makeup over the foundation. It gives a little more coverage and is smoother than the pressed powder)
