Why does my skin STILL look unhealthy?

i exercise daily, drink plenty of water, and eat nutritious meals, but my skin still looks very dull and tired. i also get my eight hours of sleep every night so i doubt that could be an issue. my skin also tends to break out a lot and neither salicylic acid nor benzoyl peroxide have worked (retin-a micro %26amp; differin, neither). what can i do? am i missing certain nutrients? i eat everything from foods with fiber, vegetables, fruits, to jell-o. i usually try avoiding the sun and when i do get out, i wear makeup. could this be it? i've been trying to get atleast 5-10 minutes of sun exposure for the past few days with no help. what else can i do?

Why does my skin STILL look unhealthy?
i say when all the traditional methods fail, try some more unusual ones. Acupuncture does wonders for circulation, and I get a facial every month which makes my skin much healthier. If you can afford it, i highly recommend regular facials in every skin regimen.

I also recommend for the Acne a product called Acne Gateway 101E. You can find it on ebay and other drugstore websites. its herbal and from china... thats really all i know other than that it really works. (i've tried proactive, differen gel, all that stuff, so trust me i know!)

If all that fails, fake it. I highly recommend going to Clinique and getting a skincare regimen and awesome makeup. Its hypoallergenic and looks very natural and the salespeople know their stuff.

good luck!
Reply:get a facial and change your make-up application brushes frequently. the brushes hold bacteria, so try to use clean new ones often.
Reply:well I think all the worrying doesnt help, is your life stressful, does your skin type run in your family, do you have a hormonal imbalance, these are some of the things to take into consideration.
Reply:skin takes about 2 weeks to replace it self. wait a lil' longer and results should show. Also you might just be doomed with fair skin. I know I am, POWER TO THE FRECKLE TAN! Yes, We gingers will take over the world.
Reply:Take fish oil capsales to help skin tone and firmness
Reply:You should try wearing hydrating moisturizer at night. I use Biotherm's Aquapower and it helps a lot.

If you use too much salicylic acid, it will just irritate your skin a lot more (it should only be for spots, such as pimples, same for benzoyl peroxide), and if you apply alcohol on your face (such as scruffing lotions) it will attract more oil eventually. So just use moisturizer after washing.
Reply:use Honey. Smear it on the breakouts. It will get rid of them
Reply:I use Proactive, the stuff really works.
Reply:eating healthy sometimes brings the toxins to the surface of your skin causing breakouts.

Try flax seed oil pills, twice a day and vitamin E twice a week. you may be allergic to the make up you use as well. Clinique, presriptives and avon are the few brands that are gentle to sensitive skin. dont exfoliate for a while insted try a mild liquid cleanser, followed by a toner, light moisteriser and light sun block at least spf 15. repeat this at night before bed (except the sun block). and never ever sleep with your make up on.
